13 Hamlin Upper Forest Restoration Project December 13, 10am-1pm @ Hamlin Park NOTE: We usually have work parties on Fridays but this one will take place on a Saturday to allow us to include some participants who can't make our usual time (future work parties will return to the usual Friday schedule). Also, this will be a PLANTING PARTY! Join us as we restore the forest by removing invasive species, improving the health of the soil, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground cover. No experience is necessary; just an interest in having fun while protecting native habitat. We provide all of the tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. more
