Hamlin Upper Forest Restoration Project

January 24, 12pm-3pm @ Hamlin Park

Join us at a new site at Hamlin Park! We are restoring the forest by removing invasive species, improving the health of the soil, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground cover. THIS EVENT WILL BE A PLANTING PARTY! We have sword ferns, hemlocks, huckleberries, and other native plants to add to the site. No experience is necessary; just an interest in having fun while protecting native habitat. We provide all of the tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. more
