Activities

In November we planted 2 dozen conifers throughout west Twin Ponds, plus shrubs, ferns and a few oxalis. We are now in winter maintenance mode! There is still plenty of ivy to pull up and in some areas, lots of bindweed roots just below the top layer of soil. There are coyotes scampering about and sometimes, we work under the watchful gaze of the barred owl. So please sign up and join us!

What to Bring

BYOG--bring your own gloves. If you dehydrate easily, please bring water since there is no potable water in this area of the park. Also, please be aware that the restrooms are about a 10 minute walk away. We have tools to share but if you have a favorite pair of clippers, loppers or trowel, feel free to bring them.

Along Meridian, across the street from the Evergreen School. Please do not park in the two parking lots along 1st NE--you will not see the work party from either lot.
