We've worked hard for this day. Now we celebrate by planting trees! Every year, Green Shoreline Day is our opportunity to create new healthy forests for our future generations.

Which trees will you plant? Majestic Western redcedars? Protective Pacific ninebarks? Nurturing sword ferns or thimbleberries?

What to Bring

Tools and work gloves are provided. Wear suitable gardening clothes, like close-toed shoes, long sleeves, pants, and sunhat. Dress for the weather, meaning layers! (Some of us bring our own gloves and kneepads.)

Bring your water bottle and some snacks. Creating new forests is robust work!

Where to Meet

At the north-most entrance of the off-leash dog park, just outside the fence by the kiosk.

Closest is the dog park's parking lot. Or you can park in Shoreview Park's main lot and hike up to the work site.
