Help make our park more dynamic and beautiful. We are removing invasive species, mulching and then planting various native plants that allow for more biodiversity and healthier environment. Currently we are focusing on removing invasive species.
Students can earn community service hours and enjoy the outdoors!

What to Bring

Please wear closed toe shoes, long pants and long sleeve shirt as the Himalayan blackberry vines are thorny. Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle! Tools and gloves will be provided. You may want to bring your own work gloves or tools if you wish.

Where to Meet

The Northern portion of Hamlin Park. Closest parking area is at the end of NE 166th Street. Park in gravel area then walk down the steps to the work site. (If you are driving on 15th Ave NE turn East onto NE 166th Street and the gravel parking lot is at the end of the street).
