Have you heard? - Hillwood Park is expanding, adding a new entrance from 8th avenue! Please join us for a fun Friday Happy Hour Work Party! We'll be removing noxious weeds and non-native plants from the new park section to prepare the land for the city to install walking trails and other features. Optional meetup afterwards to celebrate our process.

What to Bring

Gloves, clothes in which you can bend and work outside. Sturdy shoes (Hillwood Park can be muddy). Most of the new park section is shaded, but some sun protection is always a good idea.

Where to Meet

Meet on the west edge of the park near the baseball diamond, look for volunteer coordinators in yellow vests
