Twin Ponds Park - Twin Ponds Park Restoration07/28/2025

Activities

Get outdoors, make new friends, and learn about creating healthy ecosystems, all while helping to restore Twin Ponds Park! We will remove invasive plants, allowing the native species access to the space and nutrients they need to thrive, and creating room for new plantings in the fall. Students can earn community service hours while having fun in nature.

What to Bring

We will provide gloves and tools. Dress for the weather in clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, a long-sleeved shirt, and long pants. A full water bottle and a snack are recommended. We will be mostly working in the shade, but you may also consider bringing sunscreen and a hat.

Where to Meet

We will meet next to the wood chip pile by the community garden and south parking lot. Refer to the map.
