Activities

We're installing dozens of shrubs and ground cover to fortify our new forest. Then we're stabilizing hill sides with 100s of "live stakes".

What to Bring

Water bottle and snacks. Creating new forests is robust work! Wear gardening clothes: muck boots, long sleeves, pants, and sunhat. Dress for the weather, meaning layers! Tools and work gloves are provided. (Some of us bring our own gloves and kneepads.)

Where to Park

Our project site is next to the off-leash dog park north entrance.

Option 1: Dog park's parking lot. Walk to north entrance, either thru or around dog park.

Option 2: Next to Shoreview Park's tennis courts. Follow the 'Restore Forests' signs, walking up the trail ~100 yards. Our project site in Boeing Creek is ABOVE Shoreview Park.
