Hamlin Park - Hamlin Upper Forest Restoration …07/26/2024

Join us at a new site at Hamlin Park! We are restoring the forest by removing invasive species, improving the health of the soil, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground cover.

No experience is necessary; just an interest in having fun while protecting native habitat. We provide all of the tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.

All ages OK

3 out of 20 participants registered.

What to Bring

We have gloves and tools. Come dressed for the weather and ready to work outside. Please wear closed-toed shoes, a long sleeved shirt and long pants. This site has blackberries and hollies, which are both prickly, as well as lots of ivy, which can sometimes irritate skin. Remember to bring water and a snack.

Where to Meet

Our site borders the trail that parallels NE 165th St. between 18th Ave. NE and 22nd Avenue NE. We'll start restoration work near the entry trail at NE 165th St. & 21st Ave NE, Shoreline, WA.
