Activities

Help restore this watershed habitat so important for wildlife and the health of our streams, lakes and Puget Sound. Since 2017, stewards and volunteers have worked to remove invasive blackberry making room for the native and diverse plants helping our birds, pollinators and even the Orcas of Puget Sound! Join others to identify plants, weed, mulch and plant new trees and shrubs!

All ages OK

What to Bring

Come dressed for digging out blackberry, shoveling wood chip mulch, planting new native plants! Remember, this was and is becoming a Bog once again so some areas are still wet from the nearby stream. Good sturdy shoes or boots will make it so much easier! Summer time spent in the morning sun may require an extra layer of protection from thorns and sun. We provide everything else to include water, snacks, tools and gloves. Feel free to bring you own if you'd like!

Where to Meet

Stewards Marla, Barb and Mark will be greeting you just inside the park along the short dirt driveway near the creek bridge. Look for our orange vests!
