Richmond Beach Saltwater Park - Richmond Beach Saltwater Park …04/27/2024

Activities

Start your weekend with panoramic views of Puget Sound and the Olympia Mountains while helping to take care of native habitat restoration areas. We'll be removing invasive species and mulching this weekend.

No experience is necessary; just an interest in having fun while protecting native habitat. We provide all of the tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. We appreciate everyone who comes to help us restore nearshore habitat at the park!

All ages OK

8 out of 10 participants registered.

What to Bring

A water bottle, (we provide snacks), and be sure to wear tough clothes and shoes that can get dirty (because they will!). Closed-toed shoes are required: work boots or hiking boots are best as we work on sloping ground. Running shoes are also fine, but we'll be working in a wet areas so water-proof shoes are best. Remember to check the weather and bring appropriate layers and rain gear.

Where to Meet

Please meet us in the lower parking lot by the rest rooms. Look for the table registration area.
