Activities

We'll be mulching our new zone on this day and ensuring that our winter plantings are ready for the summer. There is also plenty else to do if you prefer to pull up ivy or clip blackberry canes.

What to Bring

We'll have tools (loppers, shovels, a wheelbarrow) and gloves available for use, but feel free to bring your own. Blackberry canes have significant thorns, so if you plan to do a lot of this work, you may want to invest in thick gloves. Also, don't forget a water bottle and a snack.

Where to Meet

We'll be at the north end of the park, just north of the paved trail. You'll see a large mulch pile and some compost piles nearby.

There is parking on the west side of the park.
