Spring 2024 Accomplishments: Cleared & mulched 1900 sqft, installed 90 plants.

Now we prep for Fall 2024's planting. We'll clear the entire 1000' long forest area between the west side of the dog park and trail, from the north to the south gate. We'll mulch the areas to be replanted. Plus more TLC for the areas we just planted.

Our work is high visibility, high impact. Very social with lots of humans, puppies, and rainbows. Plus the occasional Big Foot sighting.

What to Bring

Bring your water bottle and snacks. Creating new forests is robust work!

Wear gardening clothes: muck boots, long sleeves, pants, and sunhat. Dress for the weather, meaning layers!

Tools and work gloves are provided. (Some of us bring our own gloves and kneepads.)

Where to Meet

At the north-most entrance of the off-leash dog park, just outside the fence by the kiosk. After you park next to the dog park: walk straight north, either thru or around the dog park.

Where to Park

Closest is the dog park's parking lot. The work site is on the opposite end of the dog park.

Look for the "You Are Here" sign with a map to our project site.
