Boeing Creek Park - Training for New Forest …03/29/2024

Are you interested in helping to lead ecological restoration work parties in Shoreline parks? Train to become a Forest Steward in a Shoreline Park! You can join a current Forest Steward team or branch out on your own at a park approved for volunteer events. Learn material necessary to become a Forest Steward. We will learn outdoors at a site in Boeing Creek Park near the Shoreview off-leash dog park, then move indoors to a classroom at the Shoreline Community College. In order to attend this training, one must be able to commit to steward a park for at least one year in the city of Shoreline. Please write to "joy@restorationad.com" to indicate park preference or to find out more about available parks.

What to Bring
Bring your enthusiasm, a water bottle, clothes that can get dirty, layers for the weather for the field session, and something to take notes on for the classroom session.
