North City Park is a cherished green space in our community, and it needs our help to restore its natural beauty. To this end, we are inviting friends and neighbors to join us to plant native shrubs and ground cover in the park and much our newly planted areas.
Planting native species is important because they are better adapted to our local climate and soil, making them more resilient and better able to thrive. They also provide essential habitat for local wildlife, helping to support our local ecosystem.
This project is a great opportunity to get involved in our community and make a positive impact on our environment. We encourage everyone to come out and join us in this effort. Together, we can restore North City Park to its former glory and create a vibrant, healthy green space for all to enjoy

What to Bring

Tools and work gloves are provided, but bring your own if you'd like. Dress for the weather, meaning layers!

Bring your water bottle and some snacks. Creating new forests is robust work!
