Please join us in keeping the small forest of Shoreline Park beautiful. We're dreaming of a park free of invasive plants and filled with native plants. On this day, we'll be mulching a new zone (I call it "Bleeding Heart Haven") while preserving areas with native bleeding hearts and miner's lettuce. If time allows, we can also push into a new zone, clearing blackberry, cherry saplings and English ivy.

What to Bring

We'll have tools (wheelbarrows, pitchforks, loppers and shovels) and gloves available for use, but feel free to bring your own. Blackberry canes have significant thorns, so if you plan to do a lot of this work, you may want to invest in thick gloves. Also, don't forget a water bottle and a snack.

Where to Meet

We'll be at the north end of the park, just north of the paved trail. You'll see a large mulch pile and some compost piles nearby.

There is parking on the west side of the park.
