Hamlin Park - Hamlin Crossroads Work Party04/11/2026
Activities
Spring is here and our local ecology needs some help!
We'll be starting Himalayan Blackberry removal along a few pathways. Learn how to identify blackberries, how to remove them, and their role in our local ecology.
No prior experience necessary; just an interest in having fun while protecting and restoring native habitat. We will provide all of the tools and work gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
All ages OK

What to Bring
We will have gloves and tools available. Come dressed for the weather and ready to work outside. Please wear closed-toed shoes, a long sleeved shirt and long pants. We will be working with and handling thorny brush like blackberries and holly. Bring water to keep you hydrated and a snack to boost your energy!
