We're dreaming of a park free of invasive plants and filled with native plants. Work areas are manageable and it's easy to see the difference we've made so far. On this day, we'll be cutting and digging out Himalayan blackberry, rolling up carpets of English ivy, and working to preserve the trailing blackberry, salal, ferns, bleeding heart, huckleberry, and other native plants already thriving. We'll also be hauling mulch to the cleared area.
